This recording captures the first trio tour in September 2002 in the south of France. Since then, the three musicians have evolved individually, developing their particularities and their musical languages. ‘First Meeting 2002’ testifies to this initial meeting, a prelude to what they would create in the following years. Jazz is still present, but attempts at exploration beyond established boundaries are already felt.”
