Clinamen is an experimental collaboration by the ensemble Three States of Wax. The project focuses on the boundary between acoustic performance and digital synthesis, utilizing traditional instruments as live controllers for electronic processing.
Artistic Vision
The album navigates a “mysterious, raw yet ethereal soundscape,” positioning its four extended compositions at the intersection of ambient, contemporary Jazz, and Avant-Garde Electronics. It explores the fluid dialogue between human gesture and machine response, creating a deeply immersive and modern texture.
