The Land // The Sound
Slow down, take a deep breath, and let yourself be absorbed by the sound of Mols Bjerge.
The Land // The Sound is not a traditional music festival. It is a 24-hour musical and site-specific experience in the landscape. An invitation to step away from noise, listen to other sounds, and reconnect with yourself, the people around you, and the raw beauty of the Mols Bjerge National Park.
Held near one of the small villages in the National Park, this event creates a holistic journey where music, landscape, and community merge.
What to Expect
A Journey Through the Landscape: The festival is designed as a sequence of small, intimate concerts and activities. You will walk through the landscape—From the scout camp Toggerbo Spejdercenter, visiting Earthwise Residency, to gems in the national park as well as private land normally not accessible, to a final concert at Vistoft Church.
Experimental & Contemporary Music: We present an ambitious program featuring renowned Danish and international artists. Expect to hear everything from new and contemporary music to ambient and West-African music and much more.
Sustainable Food: Celebrating the land and its sounds, we believe local food is a must. All meals served are vegetarian, and locally sourced, supporting the local community in the area. The food must be preordered, but you may also decide to bring your own food along. Snacks and drinks can be bought on site.
The 24-Hour Structure: When we say 24-hours, we MEAN 24 hours! This is an overnight event. The music continues through the night, creating an atmospheric, immersive experience. Sleep is optional: You can bring your own tent and camp under the stars, or just a sleeping bag for when you must give in, or let the music and the landscape be your rhythm for the full 24 hours. During the festival you will be able to exit and enter again at different points.
